Brad Green, DVM, Diplomate ACVIM (Small Animal Internal Medicine)

Veterinary Internist

Dr. Brad Green graduated from veterinary school at Ohio State University in 2001.  He spent the following year in an internship program at the University of Georgia before accepting a position in the department of critical care at Florida Veterinary Specialists.  These experiences prepared him for an internal medicine residency at the University of Wisconsin which he completed in 2006 and subsequently became board certified in Small Animal Internal Medicine.  After practicing internal medicine for three years in northern California, Dr. Green moved to Washington where he has worked to establish a reputation as being progressive, thoughtful, and thorough.  Dr. Green enjoys all areas of internal medicine but has particular interests in endocrinology, gastroenterology, and nephrology.  He especially enjoys the challenge of working with geriatric patients with multiple ailments.

Veterinary Internist

Dr. Moon graduated from veterinary school at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2014. She completed a rotating internship at Colorado State University, followed by an Internal Medicine residency at Oregon State University. She became board-certified in Small Animal Internal Medicine in 2018.

She and her family are thrilled to call the Pacific Northw est home! Her professional interests include feline medicine, gastrointestinal disease, and hematology.

When not working, she enjoys spending time with her children, cuddling with her cats, reading, and spending time outdoors.

Operations Manager

AL has been working in the veterinary field since 2007. AL loves to bring a smile to everyone she meets. She enjoys helping clients understand their pet’s medical advice, diagnosis, and treatment.

AL loves the Washington weather and scenery. She takes every opportunity to go camping and exploring as much of Washington as possible.

Licensed Veterinary Technician, Lead

Kendara has been working in the veterinary field since she was a teenager. She believes strongly in the human-animal bond. Her favorite aspect of her job is establishing relationships with patients and their humans.

In her spare time, she enjoys a variety of activities: hiking, kayaking, gardening, reading, and knitting. She shares her house with two border collies, a papillon, 2 cats, 4 llamas, and a few sheep.

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Shannon has been working in the veterinary field since 2001. She is very passionate about her career she enjoys the satisfaction of helping people and their pets. Her favorite aspect of veterinary medicine is receiving appreciation from happy clients.

In her spare time, she enjoys a variety of outdoor activities including hiking, swimming, and boating. Shannon has a full house of pets, including 2 Labs, a Belgium Malinois, golden retriever and two cats.

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Riley has been in the Veterinary field since 2011. Her favorite aspects of the job are endoscopic procedures, ultrasounds, and all of the fun pet personalities that come through the door.

Riley firmly believes that you should always laugh when you can and tries to find ways to incorporate this into her everyday life.

In her spare time, she enjoys watching movies, reading, and being outdoors with her dogs and family.

Cara

Cara

Licensed Veterinary Technician

Cara has been working in the veterinary field since 2004. Her favorite aspects of her job are providing compassionate patient care and hearing from the families about the improvements their pets are making. Cara strongly believes that the families are an integral part of the treatment team and strives to support them.

When not at Specialty Vedmed, Cara is working on the small family farm she shares with her husband and daughter, or out in the woods walking with her 2 Basenjis, a Border collie and Boxer mix.

Case Coordinator

Scarlet is one of OVS Internal Medicine’s case coordinators who works closely with clients, staff, and referring clinics to help ensure that our clients and their pets receive the personalized care and service they deserve.

Scarlet first started in the veterinary field in 2011, and is glad to be a part of this specialty practice.

When not at work, Scarlet enjoys the company of her cat and two dogs, and spending as much time outside as possible (even with the rainy Washington weather) camping, fishing, and just playing around!

Jennifer has been in the veterinary field since 2007. Animals and veterinary care have been a life-long passion for her. Jennifer’s favorite aspect of her job is helping clients understand that we are a team working together to provide the best possible care for our patients.

Jennifer enjoys her time off exploring new places, camping, gardening, painting, swimming and drawing.

Kaley entered the veterinary field in 2016 while living in Alaska. Kaley is most passionate about the human-animal bond. Her favorite aspect of working in the veterinary field is the continuous opportunity to learn and grow. Kaley is grateful to be a part of an amazing specialty team.

In her spare time, Kaley enjoys reading, traveling, hiking, and cooking.
